Go, Grizzlies, Go

Like the Old Grey Mare it’s easy to see
The Memphis Grizzlies ain’t what they used to be.

December was the best month they had ever seen
They won nine games out of a possible thirteen.

The offense was clicking and the defense was tough
And that combination was more than enough,

To allow the Grizz to swagger and strut
Right after they kicked the Mavericks butt.

The guys in the paint go after the ball
What a combination-Randolph and Gasol.

And whatever those two might lack
Hey-OJ and Gay will pick up the slack.

We’ve beaten the best and all I can say
You darn well better get out of our way.

2010 will be they best there is
It’s gonna be the year of the Grizz.

Bill and Tiger

Bill Clinton said-by hook or by crook
I gotta get a peek at Tiger’s black book.

I can use persuasion or maybe stealth
But I think I can get him to share the wealth.

There are big ones and small ones and lots in between,
The best looking bunch that I’ve ever seen.

I don’t play golf so it seem to me,
I could fool around while he’s on the tee.

They after the front 9 it would be tricky
If Tiger stopped for an old fashioned quickie.

Then after 18 Tiger would cry— fore,
And it would be-yeah-Katie bar the door.

Kevin and JM celebrate the holidays with an in studio visit from new Grizzlies co-emcee Ashley.

Thanksgiving at the Woods

At Thanksgiving time Tiger says, I’m the boss
We’ll have turkey and dressing and cranberry sauce.

I’ll do the carving and I hope you’ll abide
If I just put the dark meat off to one side.

Now when Jesse Jackson heard this he reverted to style
And accused Tiger of what’s called a racial profile.

Tiger replied with a short little letter
He said-no I just like white meat better.

There are those, who after reading this
Will think there is something defiantly amiss.

If this is true I’m here telling you
That I don’t have a single clue.

So viya con dios Tiger and I have no doubt
You’ll be on the straight and narrow from here on out.
