I hate Monday blues affects most working people. I don’t need to tell you, why you don’t like Mondays. Get used to it! Because the I hate Monday blues is a thing you have in common with the rest of the Working Drones.
You will feel it every Monday you start into a new week for the rest of your working days; Some feel it already Sunday evening, when the weekend is coming to an end. This included me at a certain point of time. Now I just don’t think about it on Sunday. I wait till Monday.
Even though you don’t see a way out yet, here is something you can do today, if that I hate Monday blues itches you again:
Take a photo of your boss and plug it to your dart board (ultimate and instant satisfaction!)
Did you know 1/7th of your life is wasted on Mondays.(Ouch)
I know I can be cynic and nasty, but face it – the above is only the naked and cruel truth, right?
Enough lets get on with the day.
The Kings are struggling. no doubt about it.”Holy smokes. How are we going to fix this?
Mudbug fans weren’t very happy at the end of the second period and they let the Bugs know about it.
BOSSIER CITY, LA – The Kings had a 2-0 lead at the end of the first. Mississippi goals were scored by Patrik Levesque and RG Flath. It was 2-0 at the end of one.
The second period was all Kings I thought, but the only goal scored was off the stick of a Mudbug, Shane Hart scored at 18:14. It was 2-1 Kings after twenty minutes of play.
The Kings were napping at the start of the third period and I mean napping as the Mudbugs tied it up only 24 seconds in. Martens scored on a breakaway. Then Rutherford scored at 4:35. Then at 5:33 Mudbugs Blaznek scored it was now 4-2 Bossier.
At 13:09 Lackner scored for the Kings. But the pesky Bugs would just not go away as Blaznek scored with 5 minutes to go in the third. The Kings would get one more from Levesque his second of the night at 18:51. But that’s all she wrote folks. The Bugs edged the Kings 5-4.
Kings netminder Sterling stopped 32 of 37 shots directed his way. Bugs netminder John DeCaro stopped 30 of 34 shots directed his way.
Joe Sports thoughts from Mudbug Country.
This loss stings.
The Kings looked in control for two periods. But that cushion was erased by the Bugs’ furious play in the third. The Bugs came out looking like a completely different team and so did the Kings.
I felt like throwing my arms up in the air and asking what’s going on here. We were just sloppy in the third and made way too many mistakes. We just had turnover after turnover.
Here’s the scary statistic for the night. The Mudbugs scored five times in the final 22 minutes.
How long is a hockey game ?
By my calculations it’s three twenty minute periods. That = 60 minutes. What-ever happened to playing a full 60 minutes.
That’s the way I see it and I’m Joe Sports.
What’s up for the RiverKings : Well, we play at home Tuesday night. Evansville wheels into town. Be there or be square: DeSoto Civic Center. Game time is at 7:05pm. If you can’t make it – radio coverage will be on 87.7 FM The Pig. It will also be on CHL-TV.
