In preparation for Jerry “The King” Lawler’s first ever WWE title shot on PPV, MSL hosts Kevin Cerrito and Marcus Hunter are joined by a special Royal Round Table featuring Jerry Lawler experts Travis Scott Bowden of Kentucky Fried Rasslin and Mark James of Memphis Wrestling History.

The panel talks about Lawler’s greatest matches of all time, their predictions for The King’s upcoming title match against The Miz, and what it all means for the people of Memphis.

  1. I think this is exciting. Lawler ought to win the match giving him a WWE title and likely drop it before Wrestlemania because of interference by Cole, Dibiase, or Riley. That would set up a Wrestlemania match and also the potential for some storylines for Riley and Dibiase against Lawler. Having Lawler lose by interference at a PPV after Cole already cost him the title on Raw would be lame. I think it would be cool if Lawler won the title and then revealed himself to be the Raw GM as a plan to win the title.
