We all knew that the demise of Memphis Motorsports park would affect this category. The Sam’s Town 250 was a great event and one of the coolest events to attend in the area. But I don’t think any of us ever expected the Grizzlies to win this category as well. It was a unanimous decision to nominate for the Grizzlies Playoff Race. But we all believed that the Race for the Cure would win it. It has always done well in the past. Well, aliens must have come down and stolen all the true Memphians out there, because we obviously don’t know you very well. The Grizzlies win again. And if it wasn’t for Tiger Lane, they would have a sweep so far. It’s a crazy year.
