    Anfernee Hardaway…He had to be the most electrifying player in the Schools history, when he stepped on the court you could just feel the energy level of the game go up…

    Penny Hardaway is my all time favorite Tiger for this reason: He’s the most electrifying player in Tiger history! Everytime he touched the ball you’d get at the edge of your seat because you knew something spectacular was about to happen!

    Keith Lee.. I didn’t see him play, but he used to wash his dirty clothes at the laundry-mat on Cherry. I’d be there with my parents and he would shoot socks into the clothes hamper with me. I was just a kid, but looking back at it now.. That’s pretty awesome on his part!! Go Tigers!

  18. Penny…hands down. Before he started college, I got to meet Penny at an AAU game in Florida. He found out we were Memphians and sat and chatted with us for 15 minutes, signed atuographs, took pictures, just a stand up guy 100%. Nothing has changed since then. All the fame and fortune didn’t change him a bit. From the moment I met him, he was my favorite. He even remembered me when I met him at a bball camp at Central Church about 5 years later.
