Day of the Bird: Win Redbirds Tix, A Redbirds Hat, and Tiger B-Ball Tix

It is that time of the year again. It is our favorite time of the year. The holidays are upon us. And we at MemphiSport love to show our holiday spirit. This year we have special holiday themed giveaways planned for all twelve days of the most exciting days of the year. Twelve days of giveaways. This is day five.

The Twelve Holidays of MemphiSport.

The annual Day of the Bird is celebrated with a gathering of family and friends. The party’s host will draw a large diamond on the ground and the men will run around the outer edge of the diamond numerous times while a large bird entertains the children.

TODAY’S GIVEAWAY: Today, five lucky winners will win a pair of Redbirds tickets and a Redbirds hat. But that’s not all… One pair of Tiger basketball tickets is up for grabs today too. What is the largest bird you have ever touched? What did you do to it? Leave your answer in the comments below. Winners will be picked at random.

Thanks to the Redbirds for helping us honor the Day of the Bird. We suggest you visit them early and often this holiday season. And come back tomorrow for day six of the Twelve Holidays of MemphiSport: The Memphis Solstice.

  9. Eva Phillips says:

I was driving down a country road and some turkey buzzards were in the road eating road kill. I slowed down but they didn’t want to leave their meal. They reluctantly flew away but one of them was too slow and flew right into my windshield and was shisk-kabobed by my antenna. I had to touch it to remove it (with gloves on). Does that count???
