Exactly two weeks after suffering a major heart attack on WWE’s “Monday Night RAW”, Jerry Lawler returned to the program for a live interview from his home in Memphis, TN.

Social media continues to play an important role in the updates regarding the health of Jerry “The King” Lawler following his massive heart attack during “Monday Night RAW.” The King’s girlfriend Lauryn McBride posted this status report on her Facebook page early Wednesday afternoon:
Ok everyone…latest update on Jerry: He is completely stable. He no longer has breathing tube nor any sedation. He is coming around, but very very weak and sore…I have been working with him on breathing treatment exercises every hour to help his lungs. At this point he is getting a lot of rest..he can talk, but doctors have asked him to rest his vocal cords for the time being and relax as much as possible, so he is resting now. I know everyone wants to speak to him and hear him…just know that he is doing great now and when the time comes for him to call and talk he will..I promise! Also, the rumor statutes that he was brain dead or had brain damage is completely FALSE. His CT scan of his brain came back NORMAL & he is just fine! Thanks again everyone for your love, support, and powerful prayers!! I will be bringing the King back home before you know it!

According to Jerry Lawler’s ex-wife and former WWE Diva Stacy Carter, test results are in and The King does not have any brain damage as a result of his Monday night heart attack:
Great news for Jerry!!! The rumors are true. The results from the test are in. He has NO brain damage!!!! I’m not sure what the next step is or when he can go home, but this is such awesome news!!!!!

I have an update on Jerry. The docs are removing his ventilation & taking him out of sedation. He is responsive, which is great!!! It took a while to revive him last night so there’s the concern of brain damage. He had some tests done which will show how much if any damage there is due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. Unfortunately, the results won’t be in until in the morning. I appreciate all the calls, texts, tweets, & Facebook messages of support & I know Jerry will too. Thanks everybody!!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It has been confirmed that Jerry did have a heart attack…he is in stable condition and breathing on his own & heart is stable. I’m getting on the first flight out of here to be with him & will keep everyone posted. He is a strong man and we will get him back at his best as soon as I can get him home! I love you so so much baby!!
Lawler collapsed Monday evening in Montreal while commentating ringside during WWE’s live RAW broadcast on the USA Network. Earlier in the show, The King competed in a tag team match with Randy Orton vs. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler.
