2011 M Awards: Favorite Sports Talk Radio Segment

A surprising turn of events, indeed. Chris Vernon, er, umm, I mean, Chris Glitter, won the past two radio awards in runaway fashion. Yet this new award is only for a small segment of a show. A bit, if you will. Mr. Glitter only managed third place in this category with Gary Parrish and Geoff Calkins version of trivia taking the top spot. What does it say about me that I don’t think I have ever answered one of the Harvard questions correctly and that Horn Lake questions seem like they were meant for a first-grader? Heck, I don’t even know where Harvard is?!? Note to Geoff: I would like to win, maybe you could dumb your trivia down a bit – maybe at least to Rhodes College. Harvard is hard.

Harvard/Horn Lake Trivia, Gary Parrish ShowFirst Place: 33.71%
Hang Up & Listen, MSL with Kevin Cerrito and Marcus Hunter, Second Place: 17.42%
“The World’s Greatest Handicapper” Jimmy Denunzio, Chris Vernon Show, Third Place: 14.02%
Best Write-in Vote: Whenever Demarcus calls into The Chris Vernon Show
